FAQ

How to make the most of your candle?

Caring for your candles

Which tealights should be used in the burners?

It is strongly advised to use only 3-4hrs unscented tealight candles. Bigger candles, such as 8hrs tealights will create too much heat burning off the fragrances and risk damaging your burner.

Can I use my wax melts again after burning for 3 hours?

Yes, you should be able to burn your wax melts for 3 hours 3 times. Giving you a total of 9 hours fragrance time per chunk of wax, approximately 12g.

Using our Wax burner liners makes changing scent really easy. Let the wax harden and use a different one. Don't get nose blind, alternate the scents.

Is the packaging recyclable?

We are strongly committed to sustainability and this is reflected in our choice of packaging and shipping materials, all recyclable. Take for example our packing peanuts which can simply be dissolved with water.

Our waxes are vegan and cruelty free.

Are Eco Air Fresheners suitable as car fresheners?

It is not recommended to use our Eco Air Fresheners in your vehicle. Exposed in sunny conditions, particularly in the summer, the wax is at risk of melting inside your car and could cause damage.

How to best use Hudson Vallin reed diffusers?

Shake the bottle well before opening.
Untie bow and insert all fibre reeds and spread them out to maximize air flow.

Can I intensify the scent from the reed diffusers?

Our reed diffusers are ideal to create a calm and relaxing atmosphere. You can intensify the fragrance in the room by lighting the matching scent Wax Melts or Aroma Salts.

Can I reuse the Aroma salts?

We recommend burning your aroma salts for 3 to 4 hours for an intense burst of fragrance. The salts are a one use only.

Are Aroma salts suitable for the bath?

No. They are designed for warming in a wax melt burner only.
